Ronita Johnson is an Artist, Activist and Storyteller that creates sacred space for mind, body, heart, spirit expression and consciousness.
Ronita has worked professionally as Inclusion/Diversity Consultant, Human Resources Representative, Integral Coach, & Circle Convener for the last 40+years. In the late 90's, she managed one of the first large scale corporate-wide diversity education and training leadership/employee programs in America, while serving as Manager of Diversity for Pacific, Gas & Electric Company. This experience prepared her to form her own company, Ronita Johnson & Associates, specializing in diversity and inclusion; systems change; leadership development; coaching; and awareness education/training. She is a certified coach from New Ventures with an emphasis on healing, forgiveness, and life transitions.
Introduced to DIALOGUE and CIRCLE in the mid-90's, Ronita began offering workshops and gatherings with deep listening, truth telling, authenticity, standing in the heat, and being willing to be influenced, as cornerstones for transformation. She is the creator of Celebrating Our Inner Queen, a rite of passage and ceremony that is held in communities rich with ritual and spiritual harmony in such places as Bali, Greece, Africa, and Brazil. She is the co-creator of Majestic Light, a one-year coaching/learning circle, with a focus on “living life with health at the core.”
Ronita is founding member of Women Eradicating Rqcism (WE-R); a group of 30 professional and socially active women representing all aspects of diversity. We seek to: understand the personal and systemic nature of racism; build capacity to have hard conversations; unite individually and collectively for positive actions; and be an inspiration for others. She is a founding convener of The Millionth Circle and has lead circles at the UN Commission on the Status of Women, Parliament of World Religions, Omega Institute, Findhorn and numerous circles across the world.
In 2015, Ronita began fulfilling a long held passion of performing on stage. In the winter of 2017, she will make her producing, co-directing and acting debute' in a one women's show, FORGIVEABLE.
She loves integrating music, movement, travel, nature, meditation and being with people into her journey of life. She lives in Northern California with her husband John Wayne.
